We finally get to go to hospital!!
Starting Nov 7, some 40 of us get to attend a 4 day long hospital posting. We're going to get oriented to what the next 5 years have in store for us. I'm really excited about this whole programme.
We're going to visit primary, secondary and tertiary health care centres (I've yet to figure out what exactly primary, secondary and tertairy health care centres are). We're going to be going to Udupi, Karkala and Malpe, apart from apna Kasturba Hosp at Manipal, right down the road from where i live :)
AND, to top it all, its going to be a nice change from 2 hour practical work.
YAY FIELD TRIPS ARE SO EXCITING.
Sometimes I'm really happy I'm going to be a doctor, yet other times I'm so depressed about the workload and not being able to have a life outside of academics....
